Representation of the human gender

For The Other Rooms, 4 solid beech wood stools have been carved in the workshop by Lagranja’s team. The stools, symbol and anthropomorphic representation of the human gender (masculine, feminine), sought the contrast with the sophistication of some of the textures used in the space (marble, brass, upholsteries) through their formal and material honesty. Conceived as a sculpture, they intentionally emphasize their handmade fabrication.
