Updated version of a zoetrope

The DiBa trophy is the updated version of a zoetrope – a gadget that allowed the simulation of images in movement, invented during the first half of the 19th century -.
Its current aethetics are inspired by the precursor of cinema. The trophy is a bridge between the past and the future, between analog and digital. The printed drawings on the band of paper placed inside the cylinder are perceived as images in movement when the cylinder spins.
